About Robert: Filmmaker and political activist Robert Greenwald is the director/producer of hard-hitting documentaries about Iraq war contracting (“Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers”), Wal-Mart’s privateering approach to big-box retail (“Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price”), and the anti-journalistic values of conservative TV news (“Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism”).
Greenwald also executive-produced three widely viewed political documentaries: “Unprecedented: The 2000 Election” (2002); “Uncovered: The War on Iraq” (2003), which he also directed; and “Unconstitutional” (2004).

It’s a fresh episode from season two of the ACLU’s Freedom Files, airing on public TV stations across the country. The Freedom Files half-hour documentaries harness the power of true stories to highlight vital civil liberties issues of our time and inspire viewers to take action.
Season Two of the series will spotlight the death penalty, same-sex marriage, same-sex parenting, voting rights, immigrants’ rights, surveillance, sex education, the school-to-prison pipeline, and unlawful imprisonment, torture and habeas corpus.
