See the interactive map below to see how different California counties pursue the death penalty. The map illustrates the geographic disparity in our death penalty system. While most of California’s counties are pursuing the death penalty less in favor of permanent imprisonment, thereby saving millions and eliminating the risk of executing the innocent, a few counties are still out of step. How does your DA stack up? Do you live in one of California’s Killer Counties? Find out and take action by contacting your district attorney!
