The Pasadena/Foothills Chapter will honor “The Network”, the Catholic nuns who have toured nine states raising issues related to cuts that hurt the most vulnerable among us. They support the Affordable Health Care Act as well as a “moral” budget, challenging Representative (and fellow Catholic) Paul Ryan’s proposed insensitive budget cuts.
Steve Rohde, President of the Foundation Board and member of the Union Board, will present an update on Supreme Court rulings as they relate to religious freedom.
