Public Forums are held on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November at Neighborhood Church, 301 N. Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena. Exiting off the 134 freeway, the church is two blocks north. Exiting off the 110 freeway, it's two miles north. Meetings are held in the large building in the rear.

Tuesday September 14, 7-8:30 p.m. Proposition 8 and the Long Road Ahead. James Gilliam, ACLU/SC deputy executive director, will discuss what the Federal District Court decision means, and what’s next on the long road ahead.
Sunday October 3, 3-6 p.m. Supreme Court in Review: 11th Annual Garden Party Honoring Ramona Ripston, retiring Executive Director of ACLU of Southern California, and Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the UC Irvine School of Law. Tuesday November 9, 7-8:30 p.m. Teach Peace - Go To Jail. Ralph Fertig, president of the Humanitarian Law Project, and Ahilan Arulanantham, ACLU/SC Immigrants’ Rights and National Security Director, will speak about Holder vs. The Humanitarian Law Project, the recent U.S. Supreme Court case that delivered a major blow to free speech rights.
