L.A. County, Don't Make the Homeless Crisis Worse!
Launched: March 12, 2010
This Action Expired: March 23, 2010
Description:
Providing permanent supportive housing is the only proven means to ending chronic homelessness, yet changes proposed by the County of Los Angeles would effectively prevent chronically homeless people from qualifying for low-income, Section 8 housing in the future.
Tell the Board of Supervisors to vote against these backward-looking proposals so that we don’t lose a crucial tool in the battle to end homelessness!
